The simple concept of building a better product is what gave birth to the idea for Sandlot Stiks. In 1996 Chris Corso turned the first Sandlot Stik with very primitive tools in a small wooden carriage house in Cupertino, CA.
His own experience with poor quality lumber as a player at the professional baseball level prompted the idea to investigate how to build a better wood bat.
By 2001 the Sandlot Stiks brand was approved for use in MLB play and began to gain popularity. Over the years, through trial and error, that simple concept has expanded into a recognizable brand of excellence in wood bats for players of all levels. In 2001 we relocated to Chico, CA.
In 2010 the company moved into a new Chico, CA location where Sandlot Stiks bats are currently being produced with the latest CNC (Computer Numeric Controlled) technology to produce the most consistent and affordable high quality wood baseball bats available.
We are constantly advancing our products and methods of production while developing new ways to keep the integrity of the game in tact and building products that meet or exceed a standard of excellence set forth originally in that little wooden carriage house.
Our goal is to always provide the best product available to our market sector. We’d like to thank all of our customers for their support throughout the years past and years to come.
